Rob J. Official is no stranger to the rap game. He is somewhat of a renaissance
man who has produced and performed on many levels of the game.
Voted most likely to become a rapper in high school, ROB J. has proven he is much more than that. He grew into becoming arguably "the pioneer of San Jose Underground HipHop Scene"; jump starting the careers
of Karizma & Peanut Butter Wolf, Casual, Blackalicious, Dereliks and Eclipse 427 among others. He is the founder of the Black Music department at KSCU Santa Clara; bringing the first platinum plaque to the station in its recorded history. He was one of the principal coordinators for the Bay Area College Radio Coallition Gavin New Artist Showcase; debuting artist like Redman, OutKast, Arrested Developement and Kriss Kross among others. He is a founding member of the Black Dot Artist Collective. He has produced tracks for Pitch Black, Renai7sance, Martin Luther, Askari X, Lil Ric,Certified Ryders, and many, many others. He is one of the hardest working men in the New Bay Area rap scene and is destined to be one of the unforgettables.
